Look at the code. Say the fix.
Your screen is the context. No copy-pasting into a chat, no explaining. Just hold two keys and talk.
Not just another autocomplete
Autocomplete finishes your line. Flane finds the bug, fixes it, and types the code for you.
Stop hunting for that bug
You know something's broken. You just don't know where. Ask, and Flane reads the file on screen and fixes it in seconds.
Write code out loud
Describe the function you need, in any language you speak. Flane types it straight into your editor, line by line.
Every IDE. Every language.
Xcode, VS Code, Cursor, Zed, JetBrains, even Vim. If you can type in it, Flane can write in it.
FAQ
How is Flane different from a dictation app?
Dictation turns your words into text. Flane turns your words into working code. It looks at your screen, understands the file you're in, then writes, rewrites or fixes the code and types it directly into your editor.
How do I use it?
Hold Control + fn, say what you need, and release. Flane thinks inside your MacBook's notch, then makes the change right where your cursor is. You can speak in any language.
Which IDEs and languages does Flane work with?
Any editor on your Mac: Xcode, VS Code, Cursor, Zed, JetBrains IDEs, Vim and more. Flane is built to be accurate across every major programming language.
What if there's no code on my screen?
Flane is built for code, and only for code. If there's nothing to write or fix on screen, it simply tells you it can't help with that.
Does Flane work on Intel Macs?
No. Flane is made for Apple silicon only: Macs with an M1, M2, M3, M4 chip or newer, running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It shines on MacBooks with a notch, and works on every other Apple silicon Mac too.
Is my code private and secure?
Flane only looks at your screen while you're holding the shortcut. Your code is used to answer your request and nothing else.
Made by a student.
For people who build.
“I've had this idea for a very long time: look at my code, say what's wrong, and watch it get fixed — without ever leaving my editor. Flane is that idea, finally real.”
